A starting point with no gaps
The first sessions move slowly: variables, conditions, loops, functions. If you have ever copied code without understanding it, here you go back over those concepts until you can explain them in your own words. That review organizes the foundation and keeps you from carrying doubts into more complex topics.
Practice from the first class
Each topic comes with short exercises solved on the spot. The point is not to pile up theory for later, but to see the result of what you write and correct as you go. By the end of a unit you have something that works, even if it is small.
A criterion for reading errors
An important part of the early work is interpreting error messages without getting frustrated. We treat that reading as one more skill: what the interpreter says, where to look first, when it makes sense to isolate the problem in a separate file. Over time, the error stops being a brake.
Scoped and finishable projects
The practical assignments have a defined scope so you can complete them. A form that saves data, a script that sorts files, a page that displays a list: small pieces that are understood end to end and serve as a reference for what comes next.
Clarity about the level reached
At the end of each stage you will know what you can do on your own and what still requires help. We prefer to tell you frankly where you stand rather than inflate expectations. That honesty helps you decide the next step with real information, not with promises.
